In discussing the project place-based community-engaged project -‘If these Halls could Talk’, held as part of the 2021 Ten Days on the Island Festival, the panel of arts practitioners will reflect on its challenges and successes and explore the utility of a shared language to describe cultural outcomes amongst artists and arts organisations, community participants in cultural activities, and local governments.

This session will discuss what drives artistic practice in regional communities and will use the CDN (Cultural Development Network) schema as a starting point to reflect on our work and its cultural outcomes.
