SESSION: Panel: Don’t lose the digital. Technology and Digital Entanglement, Connectivity and Access
Online In Person with Jennifer Ganske , Adam Bannister , Tahli Corin and Samuel CairnduffCovid was the catalyst for a rapid change in how artists, organisations and audiences viewed and interacted with creative content. It has challenged how people intersect with practice and place and how we connect with arts and culture.
Live performances, screenings, round tables, conferences went online and were accessible to more people than ever. Established events offered a streaming option, many new smaller virtual offerings have sprung up and the age of the hybrid event has arrived.
Regional and remote representation has increased as have the options and opportunities for those who previously could not travel to participate.
What further potential is there to explore and where are the most exciting opportunities in the digital space between? The panel will bring a range of perspectives and experiences to the conversation discussing the different aspects of best practice as we strive ‘not to lose the digital’.
