SPEAKER: Natalie Brown
Professor Natalie Brown is the Director of the Peter Underwood Centre at the University of Tasmania and began her career as a teacher of 7-12 Science and Mathematics, in both the North-West and Hobart regions of lutruwita /Tasmania. Her academic career began with a PhD in Plant Science, and research work in Agricultural Science. Brown’s research interests encompass student engagement, teacher professional learning, STEM education and Technology Enhanced Learning and Teaching. Brown, MacDonald and Wise have collaborated on several education pathway and STEAM research projects in Tasmania. Brown led the development of overarching meaning making of MacDonald, Banham and Wise’s case study vignettes being shared in this presentation/paper.
